Can I apply if I have never attended a class at SLAP Dance Studio?
Yes you can. We welcome applications from pole dancers outside of our studio. Please note, however, that dancers who successfully complete our Program as instructors will be bonded to teach at and/or perform for SLAP Dance Studio for one year following. Please ensure that you are willing and able to undertake this appointment when you apply (and that you are a resident of Singapore who is legally entitled to work here).

I have previously taught elsewhere as an instructor - do I still have to apply if I am interested to join your crew?
Yes - all interested candidates have to complete the application process. You can state your previous experience in the application form.

What happens if I am shortlisted but I cannot attend the audition?
To be fair to everyone, our audition date is fixed and we cannot make exceptions for those who are unable to attend.

What are the fulfilment criteria for the phases?
Candidates who are accepted into the 2019 Program have to fulfil 90% attendance of scheduled classes and stipulated training each term. This counts towards the end-of-term evaluations that determine progression on to the next phase.

Do I pay the full fee up front?
The Program fee is payable in 3 instalments, details of which will be reviewed with successful candidates who are admitted into the 2019 Program.
