JASMINE established herself as a professional pole dancer and choreographer for over a decade. She was the founding member of Bobbi’s Pole Dance Studio Singapore, the world’s foremost Pole Dance studio from Australia and the creator of the annual Miss Pole Dance Australia competition.Jasmine has also performed with independent dance companies and choreographers in Asia. Her performances include the inaugural Youth Olympics Games Opening 2010, the W!LD RICE annual fundraising gala 2009 and the Asian Pole Summit 2008.

LINNA’s love affair with dance spanned her lifetime and she has been teaching for more than 2 decades. She started as a salsa instructor before introducing Exotic and Pole Dance to Singapore. Linna has performed in many local as well as international events like the Miss Pole Dance Australia, New York Salsa Congress and Youth Olympics Games Opening Ceremony 2010, just to name a few. Linna has also ran a couple of dance studios, including Bobbi’s Pole Dance Studio Singapore but her passion is still just teaching. Nothing brings her more joy than when her student 'gets it' :)

ASA is a certified Hatha/Iyenga yoga teacher, competitive dragon boater, climber and pole dancer. She found her first love with pole dancing in 2015 at Ecole De Pole Singapore. For her, pole dancing is not only a fitness, but also self-expression in variety ways. Static flow is her favourite on the pole, integrating with handstand and QDR movements. Asa had shared her passion with family and friends by teaching yoga, pole, lyra and body workout in Thailand and Taiwan since 2017. Asa won the 2nd runner up in woman amateur category, AirSTAR 2017, Taiwan. She is also Animal Flow L1 certified instructor in 2019.

KIM MAY received her dance training performing and choreographing in many school productions since the age of 5. As a young working adult, she continued to pursue her love for dance attending ballet lessons and also dabbled in jazz dance and capoeira.

In 2010, Kim May discovered pole dance and fell in love with how it combined dance, artistry, fitness and a deep sense of accomplishment. She won Most Popular award at Bobbi’s Pole Studio Singapore Amateur Night in 2014, pole danced in 3 editions of the Singapore Night Festival, and in many other pole showcases and events. She is currently exploring another vertical dance form - aerial silks, and looks forward to share her love and experience in pole dance with everyone.

She loves how empowering pole dancing is, as well as how supportive the entire pole community is.

She enjoys sharing her passion through teaching and strives to help her students feel comfortable and motivated.

She won Miss Amateur Night in Bobbi’s Pole Studio’s Amateur Night competition in 2013, and was 2nd runner up in Bobbi’s Pole Studio’s Amateur Night competition in 2014.

She was also a competitor in SG Pole Challenge 2016.

FIONA began her Classical Ballet training under the Royal Academy of Dance from a young age of 8 years old. She received her pre-tertiary education at School of the Arts, Singapore, where she trained in contemporary and ballet and graduated with an international baccalaureate Diploma. Fiona joined T.H.E Second Company as apprentice in 2013 after training under distinguish artist, Silvia Yong. She further pursued her dance education with Taipei National University of the Arts (TNUA) practicing diverse movement disciplines and graduated with a BFA degree.

Fiona then moved on into her teaching career as a Classical Ballet Instructor since 2018 at BarreWorks Dance studio.

This only spurred her to continue her pole journey and her passion to share the positive community of pole with those around her.

CHIA began her dance journey at the age of 4, starting with Chinese dance under the Beijing Dance Academy. While she had to put dance on pause during her teenage years, she finds herself drawn back to dance again and again - be it trying street styles in university, or taking up reggaeton classes during her study exchange. After dabbling with various dance genres, she finally found pole in 2021 and fell in love with how it's a perfect blend of sports and arts.

Chia is also a diabolo coach and has represented Singapore in the 2018 Taiwan Citizens Sports Games 全民运动会.

SHARIN discovered her love for dance after being selected to represent her hall in the annual Rag & Flag presentation held by NUS during her orientation. She continued to dance for Sheares Hall in NUS and performed in concerts or represented her hall in inter-hall competitions during time at university.In Sep 2011, she was introduced to Bobbi’s Pole Studio and has been hooked ever since. REBECCA started pointing her toes in 2015 when she chanced upon pole dancing with her friends. She was intrigued by the different shapes and expressions one could create, and is continually awed by the strength and control it takes to execute tricks well. With no prior dance experience, she understands the mental and physical struggle of battling awkward limbs.

Having been musically trained from young, Rebecca has developed a deep appreciation for how different instruments weave and come together in a song. Similarly, she enjoys exploring how different tricks and combos flow with the nuances and dynamics in various genres of music.

MARIKA discovered her love for performing when she first danced on stage at the age of 4. In school, she pursued other genres including Jazz, Modern dance, Hip Hop, Lyrical and Contemporary. Aside from dancing, she has also dabbled in other performance skills such as stilts and aerial stunt flying.

Throughout her performing life, she has been given many opportunities to be involved with various school institutions in Singapore as both a dancer and choreographer. She has also been part of competing teams for the Singapore Youth Festival (SYF) and The Royal Dance Off (TRDO).

Marika has also performed in the Youth Olympic Games opening and closing ceremony in 2010 and Chingay 2012 as a dancer, as well as the National Day Parade 2016 as an aerialist.

She discovered pole in late 2016 and started teaching in 2018, as she fell in love with the versatility of how the sport combined dance, flexibility and strength.

CRYSTAL began dancing at the age of 3, where she attended ballet classes until she was 14. During this time, she also spent a couple of years learning gymnastics. As a teen, she continued dancing with school dance clubs, which allowed her to learn various dance styles and discover the joy of performing. Crystal began her pole journey in 2019 with SLAP. She loves the fact that pole requires both strength and grace, and that it empowers pole dancers from all fitness backgrounds and walks of life!

CHERILYN began dancing during her secondary school years, exploring various genres like contemporary, street jazz and even Malay dance. Her love for contemporary in particular led her to join TRDO’s Youth Ambassador Programme (2017/2018) and M1-Frontier Danceland PULSE Programme (2018/2019). She also completed the RAD Intermediate Foundation ballet exam after learning ballet for a year. She now serves as Dance Captain of SMU INDANCITY under the guidance of artistic director Hong Guofeng and technique master Andy Benjamin Cai, developing her contemporary and jazz techniques further.

Cherilyn started pole dance in early 2020 to try something new and challenging. She loves how pole dance has made her more confident and strong, and believes pole dance is accessible to anyone and everyone!

NICOLE Picking up rhythmic gymnastics in her early teens, she was immediately drawn to the way it combines athletic endeavours and performance art. Finding a similar dynamic in pole dancing, she enjoys the physical and mental challenge of mastering new tricks and styles, finding it to be a healthy and liberating avenue for self development.

She admires the inclusiveness and supportiveness of the community and hopes to share and empower others in a similar way.

KELLY began her journey in school clubs, dabbling in gymnastics, contemporary dance, hip hop, street jazz, and chinese dance. She even spent her early years learning Tae Kwon Do, but put everything on hold when she entered the workforce.

Her passion for movement was reignited when she started pole dancing in Aug 2020. She fell in love with its ability to encapsulate strength, flexibility, grace, and unapologetic confidence all at once.

Kelly also admires the inclusivity and diversity of the community, and hopes to extend that space into her classes, encouraging and uplifting people from all walks of life.

CHLOE started her dance journey at age 3. Being exposed to the different genres of dance from a young age, Chloe is well-versed in Ballet, Contemporary, Jazz and Lyrical Dance. Chloe is RAD dance teacher. She has also competed and won awards at local and international dance competitions, such as being the Overall winner for GTB 2016.

Chloe graduated from SOTA, and is currently earning her BFA at the Boston Conservatory at Berklee for Contemporary Dance. To enrich her dance education, she has attended summer intensives at The Juilliard School 2016, Batsheva Dance Company 2017/2018.

VANESSA is trained in ballet, contemporary, jazz, and hip hop. After a short stint in the corporate world, her love and dedication for dance led her to pursue a B(A)Hons in Dance from LASALLE College of the Arts.

Since 2008, Vanessa has worked with both local and international choreographers, and performed in indoor and outdoor spaces such as Esplanade Theatre and National Gallery.

Vanessa’s passion for teaching led her to pursue a career as a dance educator and a barre fitness instructor, a workout that combines ballet, yoga and pilates.

She fell in love with pole and has now added it to her repertoire, as she was fascinated by how self-empowering it is, challenging you to push your limits, and build your confidence at the same time. She hopes to inculcate this in her classes, and believes in trusting in the process, and the results will come.

JOANNE developed her love of dance through NYP’s Foreign Bodies in 2006. Hip hop allowed a young teenager to understand and express herself better. She trained, performed and competed with the group for 3 years at various local showcases, competitions and events. She started her pole journey in 2014 at Bobbi’s and then at SLAP in 2015 and has been here since. Her love for pole grows and she believes in continual learning and that “you are your own competition”.

JUANNE began her pole and aerial journey in late 2020. Despite not formally trained in dance, she had a one-year stint as a modern dancer with her school's dance crew, Strictly Dance Zone, which gave her valuable experience in movement and expression.

Over the years, Juanne has pursued various hobbies including underwater rugby, yoga, and diving.

As an adjunct lecturer, Juanne hopes that her teaching experience could help her students comprehend the underlying mechanism of certain pole/aerial tricks.

GEMMA started dancing at the age of 4 , her dance journey began at Singapore Ballet Academy where she grew to adore the graceful art.

She was also part of the school Rhythmic Gymnastic’s team for 6 years which built her flexibility and ability to stunt.

This carried through her teen years exploring different genres such as modern contemporary and street as well as the opportunities to perform at Chingay and Youth Olympic opening ceremony.

Her love for performing grew even more taking part in different Operas in the Esplanade as part of the Singspore Lyrical Opera Children’s choir.

In 2021, she took her first pole class at SLAP Dance Studio and immediately fell in love, with the allure it gives , mixing strength , flexibility, gracefulness and stunts.

Not to mention the empowerment every woman feels after nailing a trick / choreography.
